Can't make it?

Join the waitlist. If someone drops out, you're in automatically — and your card isn't charged until that happens.

Stop chasing people for a fiver
If you're the one who books the pitch, you know the actual job isn't the football. It's the group chat. It's the eleven "yeah I'm in" messages and the six people who never send the money. It's being forty quid down because two lads didn't show.

What it costs
Players pay the price the organiser sets, plus a small booking fee. That total is shown up front, before you pay — on the game, on the shared link, and at checkout. It's the only price you'll see.
Organisers pay nothing. You set what you need per player, and you receive exactly that.
The booking fee is what keeps Game2Join running. It's refunded in full, along with everything else, if you drop out more than 24 hours before kick-off.
How the money is handled
When you pay for a game, your payment is collected and processed by Stripe, our payment processor. The organiser is paid after the game has been played, once the reporting window for that game has passed. If an organiser cancels, every player is refunded in full, automatically.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Game2Join never sees or stores your card details.

Do I need a team?
No. Most people join on their own.
What if the game gets cancelled?
Everyone is refunded in full, automatically, and you're told straight away.
What if I have to pull out?
More than 24 hours before kick-off, you get everything back including the booking fee. Inside 24 hours, you're refunded if someone from the waitlist takes your spot.
Who can see my name and photo?
As a player, only people you actually share a game with — the other players on that game and the organiser. If you organise a public game, your name and photo are also visible to other signed-in users, even before they join — someone deciding whether to pay you can see who they're paying, and that stays true after the game is over. This doesn't apply to private games or to a player who has never organised one. Nobody sees anything if they aren't signed in.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
No. There are no ads and no tracking, and your details aren't sold to anyone.
Can I delete my account?
Yes, from inside the app, whenever you like. Your profile, your login and your place on any game are removed. Payment records are kept for accounting, as the law requires, with your name taken off them.
Is there an age limit?
Game2Join is for adults — you must be 18 or over.
Do you book the pitch?
No. Organisers book their own pitch and set the game up here. Game2Join handles the players and the money.
